One year and counting...

Yikes i've been meaning to post about our year anniversary all month! Not like you really want to hear of any excuses but i will say my sweet husband gets priority over the computer seeing as he is finishing up one crazy semester of school! So I've found sometime this weekend to sneak on and share what a beautiful anniversary we had!

We got all dressed up on Saturday afternoon and attended an organ concert at the Temple Square Tabernacle. Andy is in a music appreciation class and we've been expanding our classical intellect all semester, with symphony's and operas. We had lunch at The Garden, the restaurant on top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Before we headed up we snuck a peek into the Empire Room where we had our beautiful reception one year earlier. ohhh nostalgia!!! We attended the Salt Lake Temple after to do some sealings. It was so much fun watching new brides and their families celebrate their special days. Everywhere around Temple Square there were photographers and flower girls and all kinds of wedding parties celebrating new couples coming out of the temple doors. So much fun to get to reflect on where we had celebrated one year ago.

For dinner we went to the Cheesecake Factory and stuffed our faces!!! So much delicious food and cheesecake! We bought Andy a watch at the buckle for a gift, and i must mention that he did surprise me with a tanning certificate! oh how i've been wanting a summer glow for soooo long! We checked into the Marriott in Salt Lake and were surprised with a delivery of chocolate covered strawberry's and sparkling cider!

It was such a special day! We enjoyed getting to slip back into the past and relive a little of our wedding day.

And so a first year of marriage recap!

-I got my first Job in a Salon; Cookie Cutters haircuts for kids
-We took a trip to Vegas to visit Andy's sister and her beautiful kids
